We are launching a capacity building programme for hungarian NGOs. Participants can learn and master methods of community participation through study tours and a three-day training course. At the end of the course, participants will be able to carry out their own mini projects.
Active citizenship is essential in shaping common affairs for the democratic functioning of municipalities. With their mobilising power and their extensive base, NGOs are well placed to reach and involve citizens. The aim of the programme is to introduce good practices of community participation to representatives of interested civil society organisations and to empower them to implement community participation projects in their own localities. It will also provide an opportunity to expand and strengthen their own support base and to communicate their causes.
Deadline for applications: 11 November 2022.
The capacity building programme is organised by the Civilisation Coalition with the support of the Sigrid Rausing Trust for NGOs in Hungary to strengthen community participation and, through this, civil society.
The programme is implemented by the Alternatív Közösségek Egyesülete, Dialóg Egyesület, Emberség Erejével Alapítvány and Motiváció Egyesület.
