Dignity W@rld is a virtual playground for human rights, where different age-groups can learn through computer games about the challenges of the modern world, fundamental human rights, and issues affecting different societies.
Games categorized according to different themes include skill-, action-, strategy-, role-playing games and quiz. Some games are fun, more focus on teaching and education. And there are also particularly frustrating games, as they are extremely similar to reality: it is impossible to win within the traditional framework, the gameplay can put players in front of serious ethical and moral decisions.
In addition to the Hungarian participants, Estonian, Croatian, Italian and Spanish people were participating in the development within the framework of the Erasmus+ Program. The Attiva-Mente organization in Italy focuses on migration and refugees, the Asociación Cazalla Intercultural in Spain and the Agencija Lokalne Demokracije Osijek from Osijek on active society, and the Estonian Seiklejate Vennaskond on the prevention of racism and prejudice. Power of Humanity Foundation, which coordinates the project, focused on children’s rights.
